is it can prepare and send electronically the manifest required by the government's Customs Office. This system
avoids the very costly mistakes frequently encountered by Logistics/Forwarding
companies.

Cargo Management System is one of
the Add-In Modules of iKonomikal Cloud ERP. It integrates with the programs of standard Core Business of iKonomikal. The development of CMS was requested by the subscriber
M/S Victors Freight International Corporation with main office in Intramuros,
Manila and branches in Cebu, Davao and Subic in the Philippines as well as
office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The software module development is Free of Cost as a matter of company policy, and as it is part of the implementation phase.
Cargo Management System (CMS)
The CMS has 3
group of programs namely 1) General Setup, 2) Job Orders and Manifests, and 3) Billings
and Invoices. Like the programs of the Core Business, the CMS has documents and
reports. These are printable in crystal, pdf, word and excel formats. The
programs can also attach any electronic documents.
1) General Setup
The General Setup is a group of programs primarily for the purpose of setting up the master files that are ready for selection in the creation and entry of data or transactions.
2) Job Orders And Manifests
The entry of the Manifest's data is where the cargo operation starts. Upon completion, the manifest is ready to send to the government's Customs Office. Likewise, Job Order (JO) or Project Number is also created for company's internal reference on the related activities and the recording of the financial transactions.

3) Billings And Invoices
This
program is a separate invoicing to the Customers due to its unique content
originating from the Job Orders of Cargo Management System. The format of the
invoice is likewise different.
There is a selection to reclassify the Project Expenses in the Work In Progress charges to the Cost of Sales upon invoicing.
AR/AP Modules
All transactions related to the customers and suppliers are recorded in their individual subsidiary ledgers of receivables and payables respectively in the AR/AP Modules.
The Customer Reimbursable Invoice Entry program is in the AR/AP Modules primarily not only concerning the transactions of the Cargo Management System but also other Modules within iKonomikal Cloud ERP such as the Project Management and the General Contracting.
7) Customer Reimbursable Invoice Entry
This is another invoicing program to Customers. This is separate for the following purposes: 1) to have a separate automatic numbering system due to its nature, 2) the amount represents payments made by the company on behalf of the customer, and 3) not included as taxable collection.
Project Management Modules
The Project Management Modules has a role in the completion of the Cargo Management System transactions. In particular is the Project Clearing where the clearing of expenses in the Job Order/Project is being done.
1) Project Clearing
The purpose of the Project Clearing program of the Project Management Modules is to reclassify into company expenses all those remaining Project expenses in the Work in Progress of a Job Order/Project. It includes the Work in Progress of the Cargo Management System. Normally this is the last procedure to come up with the final Project Profitability Statement.
Analysis Reports Module
Analysis module is the 3rd major group of programs solely for reports requiring complicated information. There are reports pertaining to the transactions coming from the 14. Cargo Management System, 7. AR/AP and 11. Project Management Modules.
