SCHOOL PORTAL WHERE STUDENTS PAY THEIR ONLINE ADMISSION, RESERVATION AND ENROLLMENT FEES

Community Portal Online Payments

Previously there was no way for iKonomikal transactions to be paid instantly because of the lack of online payment features. In this update, any community portal program that are by design a receivable type of document will now be able to access the Online Payment processors such as Visa, Mastercard, Paypal via 2checkout (and more will follow in the near future).

Note: The processing fees can be customized on the Processor Charges (Tab Page) of any payment processor masterfile.
Warning: To prevent payment activation failures, DO NOT attempt to save or delete the document while on payment processing.





Step 4: A redirect page to your payment processor opens and does a 3 second count down.





Step 5: Enter your Billing Information and proceed with the payment.





Step 6: Click “Close” and then go back to the previous window



Step 7: Click “CLICK HERE TO GO BACK

"Government agencies will need to “adopt cloud computing as the preferred ICT deployment strategy” for its infrastructure planning and procurement, it wrote in a statement.

The mandate was issued by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), an agency set up last year to oversee broad ICT developments in the country.
The shift to cloud technology will improve data-sharing among agencies, enabling “more effective collaboration as agencies are able to easily share resources across institutions”, the DICT stated.
It will cut the number of data infrastructures that need to be built, saving time and allowing the government to focus on its delivery of online services instead of managing infrastructure, it stated.
The government will also have greater control over its budget, it said. “Cloud scalability results in systems usage being dialed up or down throughout the year as it is required”, and “agencies can purchase as much or as little resources as they need it”, it added.
It will improve the security of its digital services. “The cloud first model enhances government ICT resiliency and security as version upgrades to both hardware and software are managed by the cloud service provider”, it stated.
DICT is also coming up with a list of accredited cloud service providers that the public sector can use to ensure that the quality and security of its services are maintained, and compliance to ICT laws are kept.
Agencies will need to use different types of cloud service providers, depending on the type of data uploaded. Sensitive and classified data “may require a private cloud deployment” and must be encrypted, it noted.
DICT recognises that a shift to cloud computing can change the skills needed in the government, for instance “by requiring more developers and engineers, and few people with managing IT infrastructure”, it wrote. It calls on agencies to work with cloud providers to understand the relevant training needed for civil servants.

OVERCOMING MYTHS ABOUT CLOUD COMPUTING BY IFAC

I think there is still a lot of concerns. Some real, not so much around in migrating to the cloud. And this is small firm up to large firm. We see this existing. Number one obviously is security. You know we hear over and over that if I put my data its at risk. And the big part of this is the media. You see security breaches, cyber security issues for major companies is in the press all the time.

What we  dont see are the little individual businesses that are having cyber security issues with their on premise software on a daily basis because also its news worthy.  (as a result) We feel like these cloud providers much worse.

But if you step back and look at the resources that the cloud providers are putting in the security its way more than an accounting firm ever put in to that function. So I certainly think that its a myth. You have more security in cloud.

I think the integration area is another area people are worried. They gonna get all these despair applications that really don't work together. And again I believe that's a myth. I think integration is easier in a cloud environment. Honestly, in our company Boomer Consulting we been cloud for seven years and we have better integration than we ever had and data flowing through out our ecosystem of apps we never had on when we had our on premise solution. And to add to that anytime, anywhere, any device accesses so much easier than what was in the past.

When an accounting firm first looks in migrating to the cloud naturally their focus on cost. And often though the make the cost analysis between on premise and going to cloud

One of the concerns in migrating to cloud is the security. But it is more safer to use the cloud technology than on premise. And really what we hear some organizations find that they have cost savings, others find the cost go up. Most find its pretty level. its because the resources that were invested in their infrastructure are go things like increase in the internet bandwith to make sure they can interact seamlessly with all those applications that are not in their local environment  So there is more of a shifting. So I'd say the majority people see a flat cost.

Now what are the other benefits? Why are people going and what do they recognized when they see, when they actually moved to the cloud. One is they can access their system anywhere and they can do that in any device.

I mean if they choose the right application that not only have browser experience but also have a similar mobile experience your team members can be very effective and very efficient when they are on the road just using their Iphone or any smart device.
