DON BENITO'S CASSAVA CAKE GOES TO CLOUD USING TEXTS

The all time favorite cassava cake dessert and snack alike of Don Benito's have made a headway among the kakanin food group. The main ingredients are cassava, macapuno, sugar, margarine and water plus the cheese toppings. How they make it exceptionally mouthwatering delicacy is their trade asset.

 The soaring demand and increase number of franchises prompted Don Benito's management to improve the marketing, production and distribution processes of the company. Precise and realtime information, decision and action are necessary to maintain the good quality of the product and compliance of on time delivery. They scouted a system that fits for their present and future requirements. The two major bottlenecks they wanted most to overcome are
1) their people on the field lacks knowledge on how to use computer, and
2) the locations have no internet









After years of searching, Don Benito's management finally found the answers to the company's operational needs. Don Benito's and TR Ikonomikal Consultants (TRIC) signed an agreement on May 25, 2018, Friday, the day Don Benito's cassava cake goes to cloud.

TRIC initial task is to automate the distribution. sales, cash collections and deposits of the 15 branches and 230 outlets of Don Benito's. Ikonomikal Cloud ERP with Text Messaging technologies combined will be used.

 Cellphone text messages from the outlets or commissaries will be sent and then received by Ikonomikal Cloud ERP. Ikonomikal will automatically do the recording, creating accounting entries and posting them as well in real time. Text could be per transaction or end of day total transaction. Hence manual accounting is illiminated. Updated and real time information is achieved and financial reports can be printed anytime. Likewise Ikonomikal can automatically send brief text reports back to designated cellphones. Ikonomikal will reply also on text request for reports.

 TRIC services include subscription of Ikonomikal Cloud ERP and text software, user license, setup, training, customization, development, technical and functional support services.
