DEPRECIATE FIXED ASSET/S UP TO END OF USEFUL LIFE IN ONE BATCH

FIXED ASSETS MODULES of IKONOMIKAL CLOUD ACCOUNTING ERP are programs useful in the management of company assets. It concerns the acquisition, depreciation, transfer, disposal and its standard costing for allocation to activities. Depreciation cost can also be allocated to project.

FA is the short name of FIXED ASSET MODULES of IKONOMIKAL

HOW ROBUST IS IKONOMIKAL?

WHAT IS ROBUST?

(adj.) When used to describe software or computer systems, robust can describe one or more of several qualities : 
  • a system that does not break down easily or is not wholly affected by a single application failure
  • a system that either recovers quickly from or holds up well under exceptional circumstances

2.1 Web servers are handled by Azure Cloud Service and enables us to do the following:

  • Provision new web servers when needed
  • Automatically increase or decrease processors or memory capacities based on settings
  • Web request distribution across different web servers.
  • Ensures failed web request when retried are received by other web servers

2.2 Point-In-Time Database Restore handled by Azure SQL Database allowed us to build a simplified version for our subscribers to use. Subscribers are able to restore their database any point-in-time within 14 Days.

2.3 Geo Database Restore handled by Azure SQL Database allowed us to make backups of subscriber databases having 1 Hour difference. The backup is stored miles away from our data center and restorable only at the time of the last backup.

HOW TO SUBSCRIBE TO IKONOMIKAL?

1. Do the usual Login procedure to ikonomikal, then Click the Subscription Services icon pointed by red arrow as shown below

The boxes of the Summary in the header portion are automatically filled upon selection and entry of appropriate data  in the Subscriptions portion.

3. Click + (Add) icon to open page 1 of the Buy Services



















Note: ikonomikal ID of the template owner will automatically appear in the ikonomikal ID box. Template will be the (Default) Blank Company which means all the setup requirements has to be entered. Not unless there are other templates available to select.

4. Click the ikonomikal  ID box as option and replace with another ID who has prepared template/s.  Then Click the Verify ID icon. The purpose of using the template is to shorten the setup weeks or days during the implementation.

5. Click the Arrow icon of the template to list the templates. Select by clicking the template as recommended by the owner of the ID. Click the Arrow (>) to the right to go to the next page.

6. Write the desired Company Name and brief description of the Nature of Business as shown in the example on page 2 below. Click the Arrow (>) to the right to go to the next page.

7. Click the Arrow down icon of the Tier box to list the Tiers. As an example below the Starter Database Performance Tier is selected.

Note: Choices of Database Performance Tier per month

Starter Database at US$ 30 per month good for 1 to 10 users
Small Database at US$ 48 per month good for 1 to 20 users
Medium Database at US$ 101 per month good for 1 to 50 users
Large Database at US$ 200 per month good for 1 to 100 users

Each Database Tier has free 5GB Data Downloading service.  Should Downloading requirement is higher, the price for additional 5GB is US$1.00 per month.

8. Enter the number of months to subscribe and the total value in US$ will appear. Unpaid box will also show the value in US$. Click Arrow (>) icon to the right to go to the next page.

Important Note:
Please remember that 1 month in ikonomikal is 30 days. Series of automatic expiration notices will be sent to the subscriber. The last chance is to renew the Database subscription minimum 2 days before the subscription expiry date. The reason is the database once it enters on the first day of the following month, the database is subject to payment of 1 month subscription to Microsoft Azure. That is why it is on the last day when database is placed in the temporary storage. It will be stored for 2 months to give an opportunity to the subscriber to re use. If not renewed, then the database is automatically deleted by the system with no chance of recovery. Aside from the data lost, the efforts, time and resources spent in the set up are likewise all gone.

It is also suggested to subscribe for a minimum of 3 months as allowance for implementation activities such as setup, training and live transactions.


9. Enter the quantity of users and the number of months. It is suggested to make the number of months of the Database Performance Tier and the users to be the same.


Below image shows an example of filled quantity of users and months. The total value of users in US$ automatically appears. Likewise the Unpaid Subscription in US$ also increases, precisely the running total of the subscribed database and the users' licenses.  Click Arrow (>) icon to the right to go to the next page.

Suggestions:
  • Subscribe for a minimum of 3 months as allowance for set up, training and live transactions
  • Include 1 user in addition to your company users for the use of your implementer
  • Again, renew database and users subscription ahead of expiry to avoid inconvenience


10. Data Downloading Service per 5GB is US$1.00 per month. This is required when all the users in the database have exceeded the consumption of free 5GB Data Downloading Service. Notification will be sent when about to exceed. To avoid interruption and inconvenience please acquire this service in advance.

Quick consumption happens due to frequent generation of reports specially if users like to use the Business Intelligence.

11. Template Storage Service allows the subscriber to store predefined/template company databases in our offline storage and use it to build new companies with predefined setup data. The template may be given for free or with a fee to any would be subscribers to avoid weeks of  implementation activity of setting up of the database. The unit price is US$ 2 per month.

If not required then skip and Click Arrow (>) icon to the right to go to the next page.


12. The next page is the Summary of the Buy Services.  It contains all the  quantities and values of the services to subscribe. In addition, charges applied such as PayPal charges and value added tax to arrive at Total Payable

Processing fee of 5.8% on total subscription without tax and US$ 0.45 per transaction. While government charges is 12% Value Added Tax.

13. Click Yes to continue. You may proceed to pay or without payment for curiosity purposes only. The payable amount in the summary will be temporarily saved for your future decision to amend or pay.

Payment will be by CREDIT CARD through 2CHECKOUT payment system.


14. After the payment the below image showing "Thank You For Payment" will appear



15.  Thereafter, a new company appears on the main page. The next procedure is the setup of the new company.

16. Go back to Subscription Services of ikonomikal. Click the right side page "Invoice and Payment History". This will provide the  invoice and payment details.

Take notice that the above is another example of paid subscription. The same shall be used in the succeeding images.

17.  Highlight the selected detail line with columns starting from the Company. Example below is the Pay ID Details is highlighted on the left side. The choice will be the reference where invoice details will be shown. Thereafter, Click the Invoice details to show another page Invoice details 2.

18. Click the selected Invoice ID then Click Pay Processor to go to the next page.
